Supervision Sections
each section takes approximately 3-4 months as a full-time supervisee
Section 1: Foundational Concepts & Basics of Measurement
If you're brand new to supervision, START HERE! We will cover the basic concepts of ABA, how to collect and graph data, and the basics of how we change behavior.
Section 3: Assessment & Report Writing
This is an advanced cohort for experienced supervisees. We will look at different assessment methods and learn how to write client programs and reports. This section also covers experimental design, parent interviews, and a review of verbal behavior.
Section 2: Behavior Change Basics
This section will move onto intermediate topics including reinforcement, punishment, motivating operations, and an overview of the functions of behavior. We will also take our first look at ethics.
Section 4: Decreasing Behavior & Advanced Topics
We wrap up your structured supervision experience by covering behavior intervention plans, functional analysis, decreasing challenging behaviors, supervision, and parent trainings.
Final Months
The above 4 sections will take you through 14 months of full-time supervision. The remaining time will focus on individualized supervision for your future career goals and test prep.
